Way back in 1989 I began sewing for a local gift shop and haven't stopped creating since! Amish dolls and dressed bunnies where the most sought after handmades in the early 90's and I couldn't tell you how many of those I stitched up to make my "stay at home mom" a reality!
It is now 23 years later and I'm still a "stay at home mom" with grown children so I changed my title to "Work at home Mom and Grammy"!
In 1996 I began doing local craft shows which has evolved from a one table display to filling a 10" by 20" foot space with my own handmades! Along with my sewing "treasures" by husband Jeff began crafting wood pieces for me to distress. About the same time the World Wide Web introduced a whole new opportunity for a small time artist like myself! My website was created, joined the blog community, Facebook, opened an Etsy shop and joined some online forums where some wonderful friendships have been created!
